My Samsung Star wifi in pink

I present you, the "it" I was talking about last week!


Samsung Star wifi in soft pink!~
I knew this product from my friend's blog, she bought it last year.
I just fall in love with this phone. Not sure when I fall in love with it ~

To protect the phone, I went to Samsung store and bought silicon casing for it.
The phone charm is from my previous phone.


The back of my phone, the green seal is actually to protect the phone.
Is already on the phone before you purchase it.

There's stylus as well ;)
But since, my friend, Sheep-chan explained Samsung Star in more organized way, I will leave a link to her blog at the end of this post. She is good in reviewing anything I would say XD ( I might review some parts which she didn't mention in her blog as you scroll down )

In short, Samsung Star wifi is a full touchscreen phone with 3 buttons at the bottom

1) receives call
2) back button
3) end call

Stylus located at the top right of the phone.
The phone charm slot is located at the bottom right of the phone.

I love the auto lock system.
To unlock it, you just press the lock button on the bottom left of the screen.

OR

You use Smart unlock.
Smart unlock is to use your finger and write one alphabet on the screen if you dislike pressing the yellow lock ( referring to the picture above ) You choose one of the alphabets, from A to Z ~ then you can scribble it either with stylus or finger. :)


One thing I like about this phone is you can drag icons onto the desktop(screen) from the widget tab.
This phone contains 3 desktops.


The widget tab is located at the left screen. ;)


Main menu
On the main menu, there are two tabs at the top of the screen.
The picture above is main menu, where basic icons are there.
Meanwhile............


The left tab is shortcut keys to other widgets that are not listed on the main menu.
More to applications and memo,bluetooth,wifi, and entertainment icons.

In short, as if you have more than 4 pages of menu ;) !!!
Question: doesn't it looks like iPhone in some way?

If you are bored by only-word-phonebook.
This is an additional feature, is not necessary for you to use it.
You can press back phonebook icon on the main menu and access it ;)

Comments from me

1) Sensitivity is quite slow. You have to press the phone not harder nor faster nor slow, is just timing.
2) This phone have smile detection feature when you are using it to take camera. For my case, it lags after I use it for one time. Then, I cannot use it anymore as is lags. Either I restart my phone or wait for few hours.
3) Wifi is a bit problematic, you need to use Opera mini browser to do so. That I would leave it to my friend's blog to explain ^_^
4) Is stylus useful? To me, it is useful to tap buttons like [ Sign in ] or [Enter] or [Log in], other than that, I prefer to use my finger to type.
5) Thank god this phone have virtual QWERTY keypad.
6) Is it loud? Hella yes LOL!!!!!
7) I just love 3 desktops, I can drag my favourite widgets on as my shortcuts.
8) Eventhough you cannot change its theme, but this phone allows you to change the desktop wallpapers and main menu layout which are good enough to make your phone looking fresh all the time
